Saving Project...

Site work and paving for a road / highway in Cochran, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

The project consists of 4.9 miles of HMA patching, HMA leveling and Double Surface Treatment with sand seal and striping and shoulder building and grassing on both sides of roadway as needed beginning at the Cochran City Limit and ending at the unpaved section of Mac Thompson Road Before Dubois Church Road. The project consist of one (1) roadway. (The project scope is shown on the plans/cross-sections/maps as prepared by Construction Materials Services, Inc.) Each bid shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid amount. The Bid Bond May be in the form of a surety issued bond or cashier's made payable to Bleckley County. The Bid Bond shall be forfeited to Bleckley County as liquidated damages if the bidder fails to execute the Contract and provide Performance and Payment Bonds within fifteen (15) days after being notified that he has been awarded the Contract. Surety and insurance companies must have an AM Best rating of A-6 or greater, be listed in the Federal Registry of Companies holding Certificates of Authority and Acceptable Sureties on Federal Bonds, be licensed by the Georgia Insurance Department and the Georgia Secretary of State to do business I the State of Georgia. Each bid packet must be picked up and submitted in a SEALED ENVELOPE, addressed to the OWNER and HAND delivered to the County Commissioner, Bleckley County Each sealed envelope, containing a bid, must be plainly marked on the outside "2022 LMIG Project".
