In accordance with the informal competition procedures provided for in 11 Iowa Administrative Code rule 118.9, the Department of Human Services (the Agency) is seeking a Contractor (Service Provider) to provide services, repairs and parts for the Agency water, wastewater, and drainage needs. The successful Bidder will provide services, repairs and parts for the Agency water, wastewater, and drainage needs. Such services shall include, but are not limited to, the following: 1. Repair Services - Provide repair services on water, wastewater, and drainage 2. Emergency Repair Services - Provide emergency repair services on water, wastewater, and drainage 3. Onsite Support - Provide onsite support to have the contractor assess the site of repair and advise of proper fittings and equipment to Agency to make proper repairs. Have the contractor present during repairs to advise Agency on how to properly install the items. 4. Onsite Training - Provide onsite training to Agency employees on products available from contractor. At Agency's request, the contractor would demonstrate how products work and the purposes that it serves. 5. Onsite Product Testing and Viewing - The contractor will have demonstrations of new products on the market or equipment at the request of the Agency. 6. Parts - The Agency will have the option of purchasing specialty tools, water works accessories, fabricated pipe, and equipment from the Contractor at a discounted price.
