The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is to identify facility-related consultant firms who would be interested in conducting a study relative to the planned replacement of elementary schools within the Salt Lake City School District, Salt Lake City, Utah. The Salt Lake City School District is looking for potential companies who can provide consulting services relative to the short and long-term planning for the rebuild or replacement of school buildings. The selected consultant would perform a study on specific facilities earmarked for replacement in the short and long-term plan. The services would result in recommendations for rebuild/replacement and the development of a prioritized list. There are currently seven schools targeted for this study. The schools include the following: Bennion, Emerson, Ensign, Hawthorne, Jackson, Wasatch and Bryant Middle. Factors to consider would include structural integrity and seismic, space limitations, improvements relative to energy, water, maintenance, waste management, interior air quality, pollution reduction, security, improved daylight, hazardous waste, public perception, and other factors suggested by the selected consulting firm..
