Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Mississauga, Ontario. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The scope of work for this Project includes, but not limited to the following: clearing and grubbing and providing temporary access; closure of Sawmill Creek Trail and placing proper signage; clearing and grubbing including off-site management of removed and/or unsuitable materials; removal of the existing asphalt and waterproofing system on deck and approach slabs; patch repairs on deck top, girder soffit, deck fascia, abutments, wingwalls, south parapet wall and south sidewalk; scarifying concrete surface on existing north sidewalk; removal of existing expansion joints, approach slabs, curbs, sidewalk on grade, railings, top of ballast walls, top of wingwalls and deck fascia; construction of new semi-integral deck ends, portions of wingwalls and fascia; construction of new approach slabs, sidewalks, separation parapet wall and Multi-Use-Path (MUP) exodermic deck extension; installation of new waterproofing system on bridge deck and new approach slabs; paving of bridge deck and new approach slabs; repair of slope paving at abutments; restoration of site to pre-construction conditions or better.
