A tmeline for award has not yet been established. ** New Braunfels Utilities ("NBU") invites the submittal of responses to this Request for Bids ("RFB") from qualified firms interested in providing construction services in connection with the construction of the Gruene Wastewater and Inverted Siphon - Odor Control Project (the "Project"). The Project has been designed by Freese and Nichols, Inc. to install a permanent odor control facility and connection to the Gruene Road siphon structure. The Project is anticipated to include some or all of the following items within its scope: (i) construction of a permanent odor control facility and connection to the Gruene Road siphon structure; (ii) installation of piping; (iii) installation of valves; (iv) construction of outdoor chemical facilities; (v) installation of structural and electrical equipment; (vi) installation of instrumentation; (vii) traffic control; (viii) site security; and (ix) all other appurtenances necessary to complete the Project. Questions regarding this RFB or the services requested must be sent to the Purchasing Manager at purchasing@nbutexas.com. Other than the Purchasing Manager, the respondent shall not contact any NBU employee or member of the Board of Trustees regarding a response to this RFB prior to the award of a contract. If the respondent makes such contact in violation of this RFB, NBU may disqualify the respondent's response. NBU shall accept requests for additional information or clarification concerning this RFB on or before 2:00 PM CT, May 5, 2022. NBU shall not answer any questions submitted after 2:00 PM CT, May 5, 2022. NBU shall have a reasonable amount of time to respond to questions or concerns regarding the RFB. NBU intends to respond to all questions; however, NBU reserves the right to decline to respond to a question or concern.
