Renovation of a multi-residential development in Atlanta, Georgia. Working plans call for the renovation of a 20-story above grade multi-residential development.
The owner has determined a prequalified list of construction managers. The Georgia State Financing and Investment Commission (GSFIC), as "Owner," on behalf the of the Georgia Building Authority ("Using Agency"), is seeking firms interested in providing construction management at-risk services for a project known as Project Floyd Building East & West Towers Restack in Atlanta, Georgia. The project involves the renovation/reconfiguration of multiple floors within the Floyd Towers Building. This facility consists of two essentially identical 20 story high rise towers connected by a common entrance lobby area on the main level and houses numerous state agencies. The project will require phasing of the work, allowing tenants to be relocated into newly renovated space while vacating existing space slated for renovation. lobby area on the main level and houses numerous state agencies. East Tower: Construction is anticipated on 5 full floors (16-19, and 11) and 3 partial floors (4, 10 and 13) West Tower: Construction is anticipated on 5 full floors (19, 16, 15,6 and 5) and 4 partial floors (17, 14, 10, 4) The preliminary Stated Cost Limitation (SCL) or construction cost of the Project is estimated at $27,800,000.00. The final SCL may be revised by the Owner due to final programmatic requirements, funding availability or other circumstances.
