The intent of this Invitation for Bid (IFB) is for the County of Loudoun, Virginia (County) to obtain the services of qualified contractors to be readily available to provide carpentry services at County facilities. Specific jobs are not outlined or described herein. During the contract period, the successful Contractor shall be available for any and all carpentry jobs required by the County. The Contractor should have a flexible organization capable of performing multiple assignments simultaneously for emergency and non-emergency calls. The County intends to award a one (1) year base term contract with up to four (4) additional one (1) year renewal periods. The County intends to award this contract to three (3) qualified carpentry contractors who will provide the full scope of services identified in this IFB. These contracts will generally be utilized to accomplish small to medium sized, Projects with a typical Task Order value within the range of $10,000-$100,000. However, Task orders in the $1,000 to $5,000 range are also common. Task Orders are not expected to exceed $250,000. Typical Work under these contracts is anticipated to include, but not be limited to, installing wooden structures such as rafters, partitions, joists and wall studs; installing cabinets, shelving, fitted furniture, drywall, insulation...
