The City of Missoula invites proposals to provide services to the city for cleanup and disposal of trash, debris, abandoned camps, abandoned boats, trailers, campers without engines and illegal dumping on City-owned lands and rights-of-way. Missoula Municipal Ordinance 12.28.070 Prohibits obstructing a sidewalk, street, avenue, or alley. 12.40.065 prohibits activities such as camping, unattended personal property, and leaving refuse in Missoula parks, trails, and conservation lands; and 10.22.060 prohibits parking a vehicle upon any street or alley for more than 120 consecutive hours. The city may engage one or more individuals/businesses as an Independent Contractor(s) over a one -year period, with the optional to renew for one additional year. Independent Contractors interested in providing cleanup services on an on-call basis as described in attached SPECIFICATIONS, are encouraged to submit a proposal to provide services.
