The Town of Enfield has need for and intends to construct a wastewater collection system improvements project described as Enfield Phase 5 Sewer Collection System Improvements to effectuate a reduction in the I&I, sewer overflows and attendant costs on N. Nustreet (from Bell to Collins), Cary St. (from Hwy 301 to MLK, Jr. Ave), Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Ave. (from PS #4 to Whitaker), Weeks St. (from Hwy 301 to SE Railroad), South St. (from Hwy 301 to SE Railroad), Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Ave. (from Cary to Mason), & Dixie St., if time and budget allows. The project is comprised of 3,600 LF of gravity sewer, 19 manhole repair/replacements, 49 sewer services, and allied & related items, to the extent that time and budget will permit, pursuant to the Terms and Project Milestones depicted in the Letter of Intent to Fund dated March 8, 2022, for project entitled 2020 Sewer Phase 5 Project. The Town of Enfield is soliciting proposals or qualifications for NC Licensed Professional Engineering Services to assist the Town in the: developing of Plans & Specs through the Project Construction Phase only. All work for this project will be conducted to ensure compliance with all applicable federal requirements and regulations under the CDBG-I program. Engineering payment terms will be negotiated with the selected firm. The fee for professional engineering services will solely be paid with CDBG funds.
