Site work and paving for a civil project in Baltimore, Maryland. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; and water / sewer project.
The MDOT SHA hereby notifies all bidders that in regard to any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, minority/ disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this notice and will not be subjected to discrimination on the basis of race, color, religion, ancestry, national origin, sex, age, marital status, sexual orientation, sexual identity, genetic information or disability in consideration for an award. Minority/ Disadvantaged business enterprises are encouraged to respond to this solicitation. On Federally assisted projects, the bidder's attention is called to the Standard Federal Equal Employment Opportunity Construction Contract Specifications (Executive Order 11246) which is a part of the contract proposal. All of these activities shall be done in accordance with Title VI of the 1964 Civil Rights Act, as amended. It is the goal of MDOT SHA that Disadvantaged and/or Minority Business Enterprises participate in all Federal Aid and State contracts, as applicable. Each contract will contain a specific participation goal. Counties: Baltimore Classification: H ($15,000,001 to $30,000,000) Funding: Federal F.A.P. Number: AC-NHPP-G-3(801)N Latex Modified Concrete (Epoxy Polymer) overlay on various bridges along I-95 at the I-695 (Baltimore Beltway) interchange in Baltimore County south of Baltimore City. This Contract includes a total of ten (10) bridges. Maintenance of traffic along I-95 will utilize staged construction techniques to maintain all through lanes during construction. The work for this project will also include the following: removing portions of existing concrete bridge decks, removing and replacing existing concrete parapets, endpost, expansion joints, abutment backwalls, and scuppers, repairs to the structural steel, concrete substructure, and slope protection, installation of approach guardrails, signing and pavement marking, and drainage structures. The project includes approximately 2.7 miles of roadway milling and resurfacing for I-95 northbound, I-95 southbound, and associated ramps.
