The State of Utah - Division of Facilities Construction and Management (DFCM) is requesting bids for the following project DFCM Construction- Utah Department of Corrections Draper Prison Site Hazardous Materials Abatement Project Description: Awarded abatement contractor(s) to provide all required and necessary tools, equipment, PPE for the removal of regulated and non-regulated asbestos-containing building material and universal wastes as a condition of building demolition as detailed in the abatement project scope of work and individual survey and assessments for each building. Construction Cost Estimate: Work Group 1: $1,250,000.00 Work Group 2: $3,350,000.00 Work Group 3: $2,800,000.00 Work Group 4: $1,600,000.00 Total Construction Cost Estimate: $9,000,000.00 DFCM is entering into a Multi-Step Bidding Process for Construction Services. A short-listing of abatement contractors will be based on the evaluation of proposals submitted and the selection criteria outlined in the solicitation documents contained herein. The only contractors allowed to bid on this project will be the abatement contractors short-listed by the selection committee. All abatement contractors responding to this procurement must comply with and require all of their subcontractors to comply with the license laws as required by the State of Utah.
