The housing authority of the city of brantley, alabama Will receive bids for furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and services required to construct: Brantley housing authority, IQC, task 6, 2021 CFP, brantley, Alabama - 2206, consisting of HVAC modifications at one development. Project No. AL06P145004 (16 of 25 Dwelling Units and Administration & Community Building): Remove existing and provide new central HVAC systems. The buildings are 1 story, and are located on one site on Maple Street, in Brantley, Alabama. Estimate: $110,000 A certified check drawn on a bank or trust company insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, payable to the HousingAuthority, orsatisfactorybond executed byan acceptable surety on the Bid Bond form contained in the Specifications, or other form acceptable to HUD and the LHA, and in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the bid shall be submitted with each bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory Performance and Payment Bond(s) in the amount of 100% of the contract amount. All sureties must be authorized to transact business in the State of Alabama and must be listed on the U.S. Treasury Department Circular No. 570 (most current list), published annually listing companies approved to act as surety on bonds securing government contracts, and said surety or sureties must be in accordance with maximum underwriting limits on each contract as specified in the above mentioned Circular No. 570. Documents may also be obtained from the Architect electronically in a .pdf format, for which a deposit will not be required. No partial sets will be issued. Prime Contractors, subcontractors, and material suppliers who obtain documents in this manner are responsible for providing their full company name, mailing address, email address, phone number, and fax number to the Architect.
