The City of Brandon is inviting interested Proponents to prepare and submit competitive Proposals for Transportation Consulting Services to undertake a Traffic Impact Study (TIS) for the Southwest Secondary Plan Area as indicated in the Proposal document. The TIS will serve as the basis to identify boundary infrastructure improvements at a conceptual design level, along with the associated timelines for implementing the improvements. The City of Brandon (the City) is issuing this Request for Proposals (RFP) to invite interested Proponents to prepare and submit competitive Proposals for Transportation Consulting Services to undertake a Traffic Impact Study (TIS) for the Southwest Secondary Plan Area bounded by the following street rights of way:
South of Richmond Avenue between the westerly City limits and 34th Street;
West of 34th Street between Richmond Avenue and Aberdeen Avenue;
South of Durum Drive between Aberdeen Avenue and 26th Street;
West of 26th Street between Durum Drive and Patricia Avenue;
South of Patricia Avenue between 26th Street and 18th Street;
West of 18th Street between Patricia Avenue and the southerly City limit;
North of the southerly City limit between 18th Street and the point where it reaches Patricia Avenue;
North of Patricia Avenue until the westerly City Limit; and
East of the westerly City limit between Patricia Avenue and Richmond Avenue.
The study area also includes the property southeast of the intersection of 26 th and Maryland. The Scope of Work should integrate the background information and identify any additional information or resources that must be provided by the City for the Proponent to ensure both a timely completion and a high quality product.
