Fire Alarm Suppression, Sprinkler Maintenance Annual Full Service Maintenance, inspection, and testing the following fire alarm systems The successful contractor will perform a 100% annual testing and inspection of the (3) fire alarm systems and the (6) sprinkler systems on facility grounds as per the requirements of the State Fire Marshal. Additionally the contractor will also perform individual quarterly inspections of each of the (3) fire alarm systems and the (6) sprinkler systems on facility grounds (4) times per year. Upon completion of these test, the appropriate tag shall be placed in each fire alarm control panel indicating the system compliance and/or impairments. The contractor will also supply a computer generated testing and inspection report detailing the results, hand written reports will not be acceptable. The report shall outline in detail, each individual device location, pass, or fail, sensitivity reading, and the name of the technicians performing the testing procedure. Annual sensitivity testing of all smoke & duct detectors will also be part of the 100% annual test. This sensitivity testing will be performed using testing equipment that is UL Listed for use on the system. The report generated from this testing shall indicate each detectors threshold readings and functional test results. An example of this report must accompany the bid. Any detectors that fail the sensitivity testing, or throughout the quarterly inspections will be replaced at no charge to the agency as well as any associated labor for installation and re-testing. Those detectors being replaced must be UL Listed for use on the system without deviation. Peripheral devices such as horns, audio/visual units, pull stations, bells, and all other peripherals associated with the fire alarm system, will be maintained and replaced or repaired at no expense to the Agency as well as any associated labor. All control panels and their respective parts will be maintained by the contractor and will be UL Listed for use on the system. All testing procedures will be scheduled no less than one (1) week prior to the required testing through the maintenance department of Villa Feliciana Hospital. All service calls shall be responded to within a two (2) hour time frame during normal business hours consisting of 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Service call coverage will consist of twenty-four (24) hours, seven (7) days per week including holidays. Technicians performing duties on site will be required to show proof of a valid license through the Office of the State Fire Marshal in his respective field. Upon arrival and departure of the premises or the completion of work, contractor's service representative shall report to the Maintenance Department Superintendent or his designee. Before leaving the facility the service representative must certify that work was performed by obtaining a signature from the Maintenance Superintendent or his designee.
