Only the following Pre-Qualified General Contractor(s) will be invited to tender this project A tender must be accompanied by tender security in the form of a bid bond issued by a surety licensed to carry on the business of suretyship in British Columbia in a form reasonably satisfactory to the Owner in an amount equal to 10% of the Tender Price, a Performance Bond and a Labour and Material Payment Bond, each in the amount of 50% of the Contract Price The Contractor will commence the Work in accordance with the Notice to Proceed. The Contractor will proceed with the Work diligently, will perform the Work generally in accordance with the Construction Schedules as required by the Contract Documents and will achieve Substantial Performance of the Work on or before October 27, 2022 subject to the provisions of the Contract Documents for adjustments to the Contract Time. The Owner reserves the right to award the Contract based on the above pre - requisites and to reject without further consideration, any tender which in its opinion, does not meet the criteria it considers essential for this project.
