A firm timeline for construction has not been disclosed. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport Authority (PMGAA/Authority) is soliciting for a consultant/team to provide a campus plan to include building space programming, site layouts, costs estimates and financing options for a proposed new expandable commercial passenger terminal initially right-sized and located on the eastside of the Airport. The Gateway Tomorrow project will be guided by realistic commercial passenger activity forecasts, the current FAA-accepted/approved Airport Master Plan, and active participation from PMGAA staff, representatives from PMGAA member communities, and other key stakeholders. The Authority is interested in a flexible design that can easily/quickly be expanded to handle the forecasted demand after the initial phase is completed and an understanding of the operational needs of the Airlines that serve the facility. The consultant team shall provide several major work elements including a site layout and space analysis for the ultimate facility with a detailed breakdown of the proposed Phase 1 improvements. Phase 1 improvements are to include, but not limited to, the following: o Approximately 250,000 to 350,000 sf terminal facility o Multiple aircraft gates and associated hold rooms o Ticket counters o TSA Security Screening Checkpoint o TSA office space o USCBP FIS Facility o Airport administration and operations offices including adequate conference/Board room space o Airport Control Center o Airline offices and GSE office areas o Food, beverage, and retail concession locations, adequate storage, and delivery location o CBIS bag make-up and baggage claim facilities o Rental car counter/office facilities o Aircraft parking apron including ground load location, GSE areas, RON locations and associated airside improvements o Roadway and infrastructure o Passenger & employee vehicle parking o Rental car ready lot parking o Fuel farm/storage facility o Ground transportation and shared ride staging/pick-up drop off o Police offices o Support vehicle parking (Operations, Police, Facilities) Due Date for Questions and Clarifications May 17, 2022 by 5:00 PM (Arizona time) PMGAA may reject any or all submittals, waive any minor informality or irregularity in submittals received, reject any alternate submittals and reserves the right to reject the submittal(s) of any Offeror who has previously failed to perform competently in any contract with PMGAA.
