Renovation of a water / sewer project in Herring Cove, Nova Scotia. Working plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The primary objective of the assignment is to replace all pumps at the station with a new pump system that operates efficiently over the full range of flows (dry weather and wet weather), accommodates future growth and creates a more even and continuous flow delivery to the Herring Cover Wastewater Treatment Facility. The new pumps shall be selected from the list of approved vendors in the Halifax Water specifications. TIMELINE: Project is in design. An RFQ for Pump Supply has been issued by the owner (followed separately). The goal is to pre-select pumps to allow the consultant to complete detailed design. Tender and construction schedules may be confirmed in 2024. *Budget is unreleased.
