Site work and new construction of a medical facility in Bracebridge, Ontario. Completed plans call for the construction of a 10,000-square-foot, one-story above grade medical facility; and for site work for a medical facility.
The District Municipality of Muskoka (District) is receiving requests for pre-qualification from design build contractors to participate in a design build request for proposal process to construct a new Paramedic station (approximately 10,000 square feet) on an existing District property west of Port Carling along Muskoka Road 118. The District intends to limit the number of pre-qualified design build contractors participating in the design build request for proposal process to a maximum of four (4). The District will be seeking respondents with related experience delivering successful design build projects related to paramedic and or emergency services. The estimated budget for this project is $2,300,000. Only pre-qualified design build contractors will be permitted to participate in the design build request for proposal process which is expected to take place in June 2022. The project is anticipated to be awarded in August 2022 with an anticipated completion and occupancy of the station at the end of 2023.
