The Board desires to select the best qualified janitorial firm through the Request for Qualifications process. The primary scope of these qualifications shall provide cleaning and janitorial services for the Esmeralda County Courthouse, Goldfield Community Center and Goldfield Annex Building. All services to the Courthouse offices shall begin at 8:00 am during normal business days. Services shall be provided to the Offices three (3) times a week, in particular on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. If a holiday falls on a normal workday, the services will be continued on the next business day. All supplies, equipment and labor necessary to perform duties shall be provided by the successful bidder and shall be inclusive with the contract amount. Letters of qualifications should include the following information: 1. Name, address and brief history of the janitorial cleaning services. 2. Resumes of key personnel who would be assigned to this service. 3. The availability of janitorial cleaning service to perform the work. 4. Related experience to include: a. Other cleaning services that is similar in scope to this one. b. Provide the names of at least three (3) recent (not more than two (2) years old or current) cleaning services. A contact person and telephone number. 5. You are invited to include information not listed above, if you feel it may be useful and applicable to this cleaning service. All qualifications will be evaluated on the following criteria: 1. The specialized experience and professional competence of the respondent and its personnel in relation to service requested. 2. Technical experience with similar cleaning services demonstrated by providing contacts (name and phone numbers) and dates of all similar cleaning services completed in small rural communities in the last five years. 3. Ability to complete the scope of work in timely manner. 4. Experience with multiple companies you have worked with this scope of work. Interviews MAY be conducted with the final two selected Janitorial Cleaning Service candidates. The selected Janitorial Cleaning Service will be notified of the time and date of the interview. It is anticipated that from this solicitation a fixed rate contract will be negotiated for the proposed cleaning service. Prospective janitorial cleaning services are advised that no obligation or commitment will be incurred by the Board in soliciting the request for qualification. It is the intention that the Board, after appropriate evaluations and potential interviews, will be select the best qualified janitorial cleaning services and enter into agreement for such services to complete the scope of work.
