This solicitation is for an open-end contract to provide Street Signs - Internally Illuminated Edge-Lit Street Name Overhead Signs for the Traffic Engineering Division and various Broward County agencies that may have need of these products/or services, in accordance with the Specifications and Requirements. Quantities listed on the Item Response Form are the estimated annual quantities for this solicitation. The sum of all line items will be the Vendor's Contract price for the 1-year initial term. The County will calculate the estimated annual amount for the initial contract period and potential contract period. his solicitation is reserved for Broward County certified County Business Enterprises (CBE) firms (CBE Reserve). CBEs and non-CBEs may respond to this solicitation. Refer to the Office of Economic and Small Business Requirements: CBE Reserve Form for additional information. Vendors may submit for Broward County's consideration, a request to approve an equal product for a product/specification of this solicitation, as outlined on the Item Response Form of this solicitation. The Request for Approved Equals Form must be submitted by email to the bid contact, at nhogu@broward.org, no later than 5 pm EST on May 4, 2022. Refer to the Special Instructions to Vendors, Section C. for additional information. Award of this contract will be made to the lowest responsive responsible bidder by total price of the group. A bidder must bid on all items within the group to be considered for award. Bidder to indicate "no charge" for those items that are included at no additional charge in the "Notes for Buyer" section; otherwise, the item will be construed as incomplete and may be rejected. The County reserves the right to award as deemed in its best interest. This solicitation includes an allowance for unforeseen special/not-standard designed street name signs. It is not necessary to add the allowance amount(s) into your bid prices. Periscope S2G will automatically add the allowance amount(s) to your bid total, and it will also be reflected on the final bid tabulation. Refer to the Special Instructions to Vendors, Section G. for additional information. The County provides a specified time for Vendors to ask questions and seek clarification regarding the requirements of the solicitation. All questions or clarification inquiries must be submitted through Periscope S2G by the date and time referenced in the solicitation document (including any addenda). The County will respond to all questions via Periscope S2G. Bid Allowance Amount: $10,000.00. Vendor MUST submit its solicitation response electronically and MUST confirm its submittal in order for the County to receive a valid response through Periscope S2G, Supplier-to-Government. Refer to the Purchasing Division website or contact Periscope S2G, Supplier-to-Government for submittal instructions. It is the Vendor's sole responsibility to assure its response is submitted and received through Periscope S2G, Supplier-to-Government by the date and time specified in the solicitation. The County will not consider solicitation responses received by other means. Vendors are encouraged to submit their responses in advance of the due date and time specified in the solicitation document. In the event that the Vendor is having difficulty submitting the solicitation document through Periscope S2G, Supplier-to-Government, immediately notify the Purchasing Agent and then contact Periscope S2G, Supplier-to-Government for technical assistance.
