Site work and paving for a road / highway in Huron, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Each Bid must be accompanied by a Combination Ten Percent (10%) Bid Guaranty and Fifty Percent (50%) Performance Bond applicable to the total Contract value, or a certified check, cashier's check or letter of credit on a solvent bank, payable to the order of the Ohio Turnpike and Infrastructure Commission, in an amount not less than Ten Percent (10%) of the total amount bid. These Bid Guaranty requirements are in conformance with the Ohio Revised Code Section 5537.07. (See Instructions to Bidders (Part 2), Sections C and E for submittal of Bid Guaranty). The term of the Contract to be entered into between the Commission and the successful Bidder shall be from the date of the Purchase Order until completion August 19, 2022, but shall remain in effect until the end of the calendar month in which the term would otherwise expire.Liquidated Damages, in addition to any additional remedies the Commission may have at law or equity, for the Contractor's failure to timely complete its work shall accrue in the amount of $150.00 per day the work remains incomplete after the time for completion expires. The award of the Contract, if any award be made, will be to the lowest responsive and responsible Bidder therefor whose Bid complies with all the prescribed requirements. The Commission reserves the right to reject any and all Bids and to waive minor technicalities or minor irregularities.
