Renovation of an educational facility in Galva, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Bids shall be submitted on or before the specified closing time in an opaque sealed envelope addressed to: Mike Meleg, Finance Office; Quad Cities Campus, Building 1 room 244A, Black Hawk College, 6600 34th Avenue, Moline, Illinois 61265. Building 5. Representatives from the College and the Architect s and Construction Manager s office will be present to answer questions regarding bidding procedures and project requirements. We encourage all bidders to visit the site to view site conditions. The College reserves the right to reject any or all bids or parts thereof, or waive any irregularities or informalities, and to make the award in the best interest of the College. Decisions of the College will be final. All bidders must comply with applicable Illinois Law requiring the payment of prevailing wages by all contractors working on public projects. Bidders must comply with the Illinois Statutory requirements regarding labor, including Equal Employment Opportunity Laws. Minority and Women Owned Businesses are highly encouraged to participate.
