Bids will be accepted only from qualified General Contractors licensed by the State of Alabama. Only bids of such Contractors who are licensed by the State of Alabama prior to the date of the bid opening will be considered. The Project is generally described as follows: Boring for various size pipes from small to large. Projects will be given in task orders. Other line items (if applicable) as described in the Specifications and Contract Documents are an integral part of this Contract. The work shall be performed according to the plans and specifications. A cashier's check or a bid bond payable to the City of Huntsville, Alabama, d/b/a/ Huntsville Utilities for an amount not less than 5% of the contractor's bid, but in no event more than $10,000.00, will be required to accompany each contractor's bid. Performance and Payment bonds are required for this project. The right to reject any and all bids is reserved. .
