Awardee: General Commercial Solutions, LLC (GCS) for $140,159.84. We anticipate construction to begin, September or October. The Houston Community College, ("HCC" and/or the "College") is seeking competitive sealed bids from qualified general contracting for the buildout, renovation and construction of a Laboratory located at HCC's Missouri City Campus in accordance with the plans, drawings and specifications referenced herein. Qualified firms are invited to submit a written response outlining its bid to provide goods, equipment and services as described in the Scope of Work, and in accordance with the terms, conditions and requirements set forth in this Invitation for Bid (IFB). The successful contractor shall provide construction services for the Laboratory Buildout as described in the Construction Plan Book. The Contractor shall furnish all material, labor, tools, supplies, permits, equipment, insurance, bonds, transportation, superintendence, barricades, temporary protection, temporary construction of every nature, taxes and all services and facilities, unless specifically excepted, and install all materials, items, and equipment required to complete the project.
