ALL DOCUMENTS MUST BE ORIGINAL. FACSIMILE OR PHOTOCOPIES ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE. The Vail Tank is a 0.5-million-gallon capacity elevated water storage tank, approximately 150 feet in height. In general, this project includes surface preparation and painting of the tank interior and exterior and repair of concrete foundation piers. The project also includes installing new ladders, a platform, guardrails, tank appurtenances and repairs to the tank. In addition, Bidders must also comply with the following New Jersey Statutes: P.L. 1977, Chapter 33 (Statement of Ownership) N.J.S.A. 40A: 11 18 (American Goods and Products to be Used Where Possible) N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.25 et seq. (New Jersey Prevailing Wage Act) All Bidders and their Subcontractors must comply with the requirements of the New Jersey Public Works Contractor Registration Act, N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.48 et seq. The Specifications require Contract completion of the Work within 120 days of the Notice To Proceed. Bid Proposals must be placed in sealed envelopes addressed to the Office of Purchasing, Township of Parsippany Troy Hills, 1001 Parsippany Boulevard, Parsippany, New Jersey 07054, and marked plainly on the outside with the bid description and the name and address of the bidder marked clearly on the outside of the envelope. The Township of Parsippany Troy Hills reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any minor informalities or irregularities in the Proposal received and to accept the bid which is in the best interests of the Township. The Township further reserves the right to consider all bids for sixty (60) days after the bid opening before awarding a Contract.
