Collection of dry construction, renovation and demolition debris and movable property (2 lots) Tender number: 15-368P Purpose of the mandate The first lot ( lot 1 ) of this call for tenders aims to retain the services of a collector/recycler to carry out, on request, the collection of dry construction, renovation and demolition debris with a view to sorting and treat them in an ecological way. Dry construction or demolition debris will include the following materials: pierre;
rubble or plaster;
pieces of concrete, masonry or paving;
coating materials;
bois;
metal;
glass;
textiles;
plastics.
The second lot ( lot 2 ) of this call for tenders aims to retain the services of a salvager/recycler to carry out, on request, the collection of movable property that has reached the end of its useful life in view of to sort and process them in an ecological way. Movable goods are items of furniture such as tables, desks, desks, chairs, filing cabinets, cupboards, etc., which are no longer usable or repairable and which are composed in particular of the following materials: bois;
plastic;
glass;
metal.
Unless otherwise specified, all the clauses of this call for tenders apply to both lots. For each lot , at least 70% of the items collected must be treated in an environmentally friendly manner and must not end up in a landfill. A report could be requested from time to time in order to determine approximately the type, quantity and percentage of recycled materials. Some locations may allow the installation of several containers in order to sort the raw material at the source (wood, aggregate, etc.) while other locations will operate with a single mixed container of the construction, renovation and demolition (CRD) type. A bidder can bid on 1 or both lots. Each lot will be evaluated independently to determine the lowest bidder. Mandate period The contract will be valid for a period of one year from the date of award. The agreement will have two one-year renewal options. This option may be exercised at the request of the CSSDM and with the agreement of the successful bidder. - In addition, the Center de services scolaire de Montréal reiterates that it does not undertake to accept the
lowest or any of the tenders received;
If, for any reason whatsoever, the CSSDM offices are not open on the day indicated for the opening of tenders, this will take place the day after the working day following the date originally indicated.
