Radnor Township is soliciting bids for the removal and pruning of various trees and grinding of stumps along the Township roadways and parks. Close of questions (via portal): Friday, May 6, 2022, 4:00 PM EST Radnor Township reserves the right to add or delete portions of work based on budgetary constraints. The award date for this project is tentatively scheduled for Monday, May 23, 2022. The project must be completed no later than 120 days after notice to proceed. The Township will not accept bids from any firm/corporation that are currently in litigation with the Township. This is a prevailing wage project. In the event of a delay to the project completion terms as per the Schedule for which Contractor is solely responsible, Contractor shall pay Liquidated Damages to Radnor Township at a rate of $880 per day of delay for every day beyond the 120 days for allowed for project completion. A bid security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid is required. Bid security shall be in the form of either a Bond issued by a corporate surety approved by the Secretary of Insurance to do business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, or a certified check or an Irrevocable Letter of Credit issued by a bank licensed to do business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The Township Board of Commissioners reserves the right to waive any informalities and reject any or all proposals, or parts thereof, for any cause permitted by law, as it deems in the best interest of the Township.
