The Center de services scolaire des Draveurs, owner, is requesting quotes for the
complete painting of the Sainte-Élisabeth establishment located at 51, chemin Ste-Élisabeth,
Cantley, Quebec, J8P 5G5.
As bid security, only the surety bond and the irrevocable letter of guarantee are
accepted when transmitting a bid electronically. No other
form of guarantee is accepted with this mode of transmission.
Tenders must be accompanied by a tender guarantee representing 10%
of the total amount of the tender excluding all applicable taxes, in the form of a certified check made out to Center de services scolaire des Draveurs, an irrevocable
letter of guarantee or
bid bond issued by a financial institution that is an
insurer holding a license issued in accordance with the Insurance Act (RSQ, c. A-32)
authorizing it to practice suretyship insurance, a trust company holding a permit
issued under the Act respecting trust companies and savings companies (RSQ, c. S
-29.01), a service cooperative financial services covered by the Act respecting
financial services cooperatives (RSQ, c. C-67.3) or a bank within the meaning of the Bank Act (LC, 1991, c.
46), valid for a period of 45 days from the bid opening date, failing which the
bid will be automatically rejected.
This tender guarantee must be exchanged at the signing of the contract for a
performance guarantee and a guarantee of obligations for wages, materials and services. When these
guarantees are in the form of a bond issued by one of the above authorized institutions,
the amount of each of them corresponds to 50% of the contract price and when they are in
the form of a certified check, the amount of each of them corresponds to 10% of the contract.
Only will be considered for the purpose of awarding the contract, tenders from contractors having
an establishment in Quebec or, when an intergovernmental agreement is applicable, in
Quebec or in a province or territory covered by this agreement, and holding, where applicable ,
the license required under the Building Act (RSQ, c. B.-1.1).
Tendering contractors are responsible for the choice of subcontractors, both for
their solvency and for the content of their tender.
The Center de services scolaire des Draveurs does not undertake to accept the lowest or any
of the tenders received or opened, particularly when it deems that the prices are too high or
disproportionate or do not reflect a fair price. It also reserves the right to accept
any submission in whole or in part. The school service center does not undertake to incur
any costs or any obligation of any kind whatsoever towards the
tenderer(s).
