A timeline for award has not yet been established.** 2022 Njdca Small Cities Program Cloverdale Avenue, Evergreen Avenue and Spruce Avenue Storm Sewer Improvements 2022 Njdca Small Cities Program Cloverdale Avenue, Evergreen Avenue and Spruce Avenue Storm Sewer Improvements Financial Assistance for This Project Is Made Possible by a Grant From the: New Jersey Department of Community Affairs Division of Housing and Community Resources Small Cities Community Development Block Grant Program Phil Murphy, Governor State of New Jersey Sheila Oliver, Lieutenant Governor Lieutenant Governor Sheila Oliver, Commissioner New Jersey Department of Community Affairs Minority and Women Owned Businesses Are Welcome to Bid This Project. Federal and State Wage Rates Must Be Adhered to. The Highest of the Two Wage Rates and Fringe Benefits Are Applicable. Bid Bond, Certified or Cashier's Check Drawn to the Order of the Township of Lower for Not Less Than Ten Percent (10%) of the Amount Bid, Except That the Check Need Not Exceed $20,000.00. The Successful Bidder Is Hereby Notified That a Performance Bond for the Full Amount of the Project Is Required. The Successful Bidder Will Be Required to Execute a Contract for the Performance of the Said Work or the Furnishing of Said Material or Both, as the Case May Be, and a Surety Bond to Be Executed by a Reliable Surety Company in a Sum Equal to the Amount of the Contract Price for Said Work and/or Material, Guaranteeing the Performance of the Contract, Which Surety Bond and Contract Shall Be Approved as to Form and Execution by the Township Solicitor. Federal Labor Standards Require That Contractors and Sub-contractors Pay the Higher of the State or Federal Wage Rates and Fringe Benefits in Effect at the Time the Contract Is Signed. All Bids Must Be Accompanied by a Copy of the Contractors and All Subcontractors Registration Certificates or Applications for Registration Through the Federal System for Award Management (Sam). Upon Approval of Any Pending Applications for Registration, the Successful Contractor and Any Subcontractors Must Submit Copies of the Approved Registration Certificates to the Owner. Sam Registration Must Be Renewed and Kept Current During the Course of the Contract. The Bidders Shall Also Be Required to Comply With the Following: a. Affirmative Action Requirements (N.j.s.a. 10:5-31 Et. Seq.and N.j.a.c. 17:27). B. Certification Pursuant to P.l. 2012, C.25 (No Investment Activities in Iranian Financial or Energy Sectors) C. The Provisions of the New Jersey Prevailing Wage Act (N.j.s.a. 34:11-56.25 Et. Seq). The Township of Lower Also Reserves the Right to Reject Any or All Bids or to Waive Any Informalities in the Best Interest of the Township of Lower.
