Renovation of a municipal facility in Richmond, Kentucky. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The County of Madison and its Emergency Management Agency, located in Richmond, Kentucky, is accepting proposals from qualified firms for repair of the current foundation waterproofing system at the County's Emergency Operations Center (EOC). The scope of work (SOW) entails replacing the existing waterproofing system for the footer and subsurface insulated concrete form (ICF) wall and interior drywall, located on the east and south sides of the EOC training/breakout and office areas. The interior subsurface walls, parallel and adjacent to Keeneland Drive, shows signs of system failure. The EOC, located at 560 S Keeneland Drive in Richmond, was expanded between 2014-2016, adding square footage to the north and east sides and a vehicular bay on the south side. The east side EOC expansion increased the building foundation (footprint).
