The specifications and scope of work were developed and approved by the staff of the District Facilities Department and are included in this solicitation and its referenced documents. For a complete detailed description of the work, project documents should be consulted. This solicitation does not commit the District to award a contract, to pay any costs incurred in the preparation of the response to this solicitation or to procure any goods or services. Questions and comments received after the Inquiry Deadline will not be addressed. These projects are scheduled for immediate execution after proper award and issuance of Purchase Order(s). The successful contractor(s) will be allowed to work nights and weekends only if prior arrangements and approval have been secured from the SDGC Project Manager. All interior painting shall be complete by August 6, 2022, and all exterior painting shall be complete by September 17, 2022, subject to adjustments as provided in the Contract documents. If the total bid amount exceeds fifty thousand dollars ($50,000.00), bidders shall submit Bid Security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Base Bid. The Bid Security must be in the form of a Bid Bond or Cashier's Check payable to The School District of Greenville County. No personal checks, company checks or cash will be accepted. Bid Security shall be submitted with the bid or the bid may be considered nonresponsive and not subject to an award. The District defined the total bid amount as the base bid. If the total bid amount is fifty thousand dollars ($50,000.00) or less, Bid Security is not required for this solicitation.
