The project is expected to be awarded on August 02, 2022.** The official closing time shall be determined by the wall clock located in the Department of Purchasing, Cuyahoga County Administrative Headquarters, 2079 E. 9th Street, Second Floor, Cleveland, Ohio 44115 (Late bids will be returned unopened). By Executive Order EO2022-0004, all employees and visitors who are at greater risk for severe illness, including those not fully vaccinated and boosted, as defined by the Center for Disease Control (CDC), are urged to wear a face covering or face mask when entering the facility. A face covering should be cloth or other fabric worn to cover the individual's nose, mouth, and chin, and as stated by the CDC, a surgical mask, a KN95 mask, or an N95 mask is recommended as the best options. A face shield can be worn when a face covering is not advisable for health reasons or under any other circumstances recognized by the Ohio Department of Health (ODH). Please note the County does NOT provide face masks. In accordance with the CDC, the ODH, and the Cuyahoga County Board of Health (CCBH) recommendations, please do NOT participate if you are exhibiting any symptoms of COVID-19 and/or you are not feeling well. Prospective bidders must comply with the applicable contract compliance procedures for the County's Diversity Program as stipulated by Cuyahoga County. As required by the Ohio Revised Code Section 153.54, each bid shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond for the full amount (100%) of the bid, or a Certified Check, Cashier's Check, or Irrevocable Letter of Credit in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total amount of bid. If a Bid Bond is submitted as the bid guaranty, it must be that of an approved Surety Company authorized to transact business in the State of Ohio. The Bond will be held as a guarantee that if the proposal is accepted, the bidder will enter into a Contract for same. If a Certified Check, Cashier's Check, or Irrevocable Letter of Credit is submitted as the bid guaranty, it must be drawn on a Solvent Bank and made payable without condition to the Treasurer of Cuyahoga County, Ohio and will be held as a guarantee that if the proposal is accepted, the successful bidder, upon the contract award shall furnish a construction bond in the sum equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount per Section O.R.C. Section 153.54. Payment will only be made upon approval by the County Executive and/or his designee, and payments will be warrants issued by the County Fiscal Officer upon notification from the County Executive and/or his designee. Cuyahoga County reserves the right and discretion to reject any bid or proposal for any reason or all bids or proposals for no reason at all without incurring any liability.
