Site work and paving for a road / highway in Leyden, Massachusetts. Working plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Leyden E Hill Road Full Depth Asphalt Reclamation. The work is part of a Road Widening and Paving project to be completed over the next year and involves full depth reclamation with fine grading, vibratory compaction and calcium. The contractor will also place 1.5" hard pack gravel on the road to be reclaimed. The Town will provide the gravel and deliver it to site during the project under the separate FRCOG cooperative highway contract. Project area is 21,000 square yards and spans from the intersection of East Hill Road and Frizzell Hill Road to the intersection of East Hill Road and East Hill Branch Road. There are no structures involved in this project. Length of project is approximately 1.5 miles. 5% bid bond and 100% Labor and Materials Payment and 100% Performance Bonds. Contract Executed by May 30, 2022 Work Completed June 30, 2022 Written Questions Accepted until May 12, 2022 at 4:00 PM The Town of Leyden is the awarding authority and reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids in total or in part as they may deem in the best public interest. All bids rejected.
