Proposers are responsible for submitting any and all questions concerning the work or services set forth in Section 2 or any other aspect of this RFP before the submittal deadline. Questions must be presented in writing via email to Patricio Villegas at patricio.villegas@co.kings.ca.us prior to 3:00 PM, May 20, 2022. Questions received after this time will not be answered. Questions and responses will be sent to all prospective contractors. No responses will be given to verbal questions. Proposers must include the RFP number in their requests for information. County reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and/or to waive any informality or informalities in the accepted bid. The County further reserves the right to reject any and all bids with or without cause and re-issue this RFP if deemed to be in the County's best interests The Scope of work to be provided includes design, manage, installation and coordination of the elements of work as described but not necessarily limited to: - Removing and disposing of fuel dispensers, hardware, and other components as necessary. -Seeking the services of an approved laboratory to perform soil environmental testing at locations of components removed and as directed by the County. - Designing, furnishing, and installing piping systems, control system, monitoring devices, dispensing systems and other equipment needed. Dispenser units shall consist of two (2) Gas Boy 9853 dispenser units or compatible and under new under dispenser containment (UDC). - Installing a Veeder-Root TLS450 Plus System with printer and necessary equipment. - Obtaining necessary permits from all pertinent parties such as Air Pollution District, City Department, Environmental Health Department, etc. Perform all required inspections, code compliance, licensing and meet all local, state and federal qualifications to complete the work. - Providing adequately trained and certified staff in order to offer a safe, well maintained work environment while ensuring quality in materials, workmanship, etc. -Backfilling of excavations and final grading to match existing grades, concrete/asphalt patching, etc. - Maintaining and updating a detailed project schedule to be given to the County. - Any components required not described herein
