Renovation of an elderly care / assisted living facility in Appleton, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a elderly care / assisted living facility.
Site Visit There will not be a formal site tour. Any contractors wanting to tour the site shall contact Paul Farrell (information in Section 7.0) to arrange a time to tour the site. Contractors showing up without an appointment will not be accommodated. The interior of the rear door is starting to deteriorate or rot out. Contractor shall provide a new rear door assembly, associated gaskets, ancillary parts and labor needed to replace the rear door on boiler #1. The new door can either be a factory supplied door or a custom manufactured door that meets the size and specifications of the existing door. Any custom manufactured doors must also meet all code requirements relating to the boiler and operating requirements of the boiler. New door shall also be finished to match existing paint finishes. Scope of work shall include the following: Schedule work in conjunction with the annual planned maintenance for boiler #1 and at opposing times to the planned maintenance for boilers 2 & 3 as to not have more than one boiler out of service at a time. Contractor shall also limit the amount of time the boiler is out of service as much as possible by working on the project on a full time bases from start to finish once the project has been started. Remove and site clear the existing rear door. Install new door, gaskets and any ancillary equipment required to install the new door. Start boiler and test to make sure door is operating properly and without leaks. Provide a one year warranty on parts and labor.
