Maintenance and inspection and repairs of the Sprinker Ice Rink refrigeration system may include, but are not limited to: Replacement of filters Inspection of system for refrigerant leaks Check refrigerant levels Check glycol levels Check, and verify operation Calibration of all safety controls and overloads Check operation of control circuit Check contacts for wear Check compressor oil levels and drain any excess oil from oil pot, compare to added oil in log book Tighten any loose motor or control panel terminals Check voltage and amperage Check operating refrigerant pressures and temperatures Check super heat Check secondary coolant levels and ratings Check operation of crankcase heaters Pump maintenance to include (but not limited to) lubrication of pump and motor bearings per manufacturer recommendations, check all nuts/bolts, motor mounts and vibration pad, check motor operating conditions, inspection of electrical connections, contactors, mechanical seals and pump packing. Cooling tower maintenance to include (but not limited to) visual inspection of tower and components, check fan operation, belt alignment and tension, inspection of distribution nozzles on top of tower, inspection and cleaning of tower basin of all scale and debris noting any abnormal scale or corrosion.
