Demolition, site work and renovation of a museum in Washington, District of Columbia. Completed plans call for the demolition of a museum; for site work for a museum; and for the renovation of a museum.

Title of Project: Lincoln Memorial Rehabilitation, National Mall and Memorial Parks, NAMA 206431 Description: The purpose of this project is to construct a new Interpretive Center in the foundation space below the Lincoln Memorial Chamber, referred to as the "Undercroft." The Undercroft is an unfinished, cathedral-like space characterized by a dirt floor and towering concrete structural elements. The work includes the removal of the existing Visitor's Center and Retail Shop. The south elevator will be fully replaced and a new north elevator will be constructed in the vicinity of the former retail shop area. Exterior work includes widening of the east entrances to the mezzanine undercroft which flank the grand stair; the enlargement of the existing vent on the north side to provide a new means of egress; demolition and partial replacement of the Raised Terrace structural concrete slab, sod, and the installation of new waterproofing over new structural concrete. The work also includes the phased installation of waterproofing under the upper landing and run of the existing granite and marble grand main stairs that lead up to the Statuary Chamber. Interior work includes placement of new concrete structure and the installation of new mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and security systems. Interior work also includes the construction of museum-quality interior finishes. Visitor safety, continuity of operations, and the protection of the historic asset will be paramount. All work must comply with the Secretary of Interior's Standards for Rehabilitation. Type of Procurement: It is anticipated that a negotiated firm-fixed price contract will be awarded requiring submission of both a technical and price proposal. The government will consider an offeror's technical capability in comparison to its price. Estimated Price Range: More than $10,000,000 Estimated Period of Performance: November 2022 - April 2025. Submit your proposed construction schedule with accompanying schedule narrative for THIS SPECIFIC PROJECT showing completion within the required period of performance contained in this solicitation. Submit your schedule in MS Project Gantt Chart format; for evaluation purposes only assume a Notice to Proceed date of November 15, 2022; and include specific activities required for this project and a clear critical path with major milestones and applicable predecessor activities. In your accompanying narrative, explain schedule logic, critical path activities, and key considerations and constraints.
