City of Arcola, Douglas County General Maintenance Letting 1. for the construction of 12,360 Gallons of Furnish & Spread Bituminous Materials, HFRS-2, 2,850 Gallons Furnish & Spread MC-30, 390 Tons of Furnish & Spread Aggregate Materials, CM-15, 11,390 Sq Yd Pulverization, and 1,100 Ton Aggregate Base Repair for Section 22-00000-00-GM, Various Streets, City of Arcola; and at that time publicly opened and read. 2. Proposals shall be submitted on forms furnished by the Local Agency which may be obtained from the Arcola City Hall, and shall be enclosed in an envelope endorsed "2022 General Maintenance - Sec. 22-00000-00-GM". 3. Illinois Department of Transportation Prequalification is required. The two low bidders must file within 24 hours after the letting an "Affidavit of Availability" (Form BC 57), in duplicate, showing all uncompleted contracts awarded to them and all low bids pending award for Federal, State, County, Municipal, and private work. 4. The right is reserved to reject any and all proposals and to waive technicalities. 5. A proposal guarantee is required. Electronic Bid Bonds will not be allowed.
