When the contract amount is $100,000 or more, a performance and a payment bond in an amount of not less than one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price, conditioned upon faithful performance of the contract in accordance with the plans, specifications and contract documents and payment to all persons supplying labor and materials, shall be executed by the successful bidder and shall accompany the signed contract.
