Reference number : 1683509 Deadline for receipt of complaints: 2023-02-09 Submission sent electronically accepted: No The City of L'Assomption is requesting bids for infrastructure repair work on Boulevard Meilleur in L'Assomption over a length of four hundred and fifty (450) meters. Only contractors having an establishment in Quebec or, when an intergovernmental agreement is applicable in a province covered by this agreement and holding, as the case may be, an appropriate construction contractor's license issued by the Régie du bâtiment are authorized to bid. of Quebec. Without being limiting, the work can be summarized as follows: Demolition of the existing (sidewalks, curbs, roadway, combined sewer and aqueduct); Construction of new storm, sanitary and water sewer infrastructures; Construction of a new street pavement, curbs and bike path; Pavement marking As well as all related work necessary for the completion of this contract. For any information, the tenderer must communicate, in writing only, with Jean-Luc Léonard, head of the supply division of the City of L'Assomption, by email at the address appeldoffres@ville.lassomption.qc.ca , and this, at least seven (7) days before the opening of the tenders in order to allow a project manager to respond to all requests before the opening of the tenders. All requests received after this deadline may not be considered. Responses will be communicated in writing to all bidders. When a response has the effect of modifying the requirements of the specifications, this response must be presented in the form of an addendum. REQUIREMENTS Each tender must be accompanied by a tender bond issued in favor of the City of L'Assomption in the amount equivalent to ten percent (10%) of the total tender, including taxes. Only a bid bond established by an insurer holding an insurer's license issued by the Autorité des marchés financiers and authorizing it to carry out guarantee activity within the meaning of the Insurance Act and in accordance with standardized form NQ 1809- 900/A will be accepted at the end of the tender documents. This bond must be valid for a period of ninety (90) days from the date of opening of tenders. In addition, this bid bond must be accompanied by: a letter of commitment confirming that if the contract is awarded and accepted, the tenderer will issue in favor of the City of L'Assomption, within fifteen (15) days from the date of sending the notice of adjudication, a guarantee of performance and a guarantee of the obligations of the buyer for wages, materials and services each for fifty percent (50%) of the contract of service, including taxes; copy of the contract management by-law of the City of L'Assomption initialed; the completed and signed Integrity Attestation form; the company resolution or authorization to sign; a copy of the contractor's license (Régie du bâtiment du Québec); a copy of the Attestation de Revenu Québec issued by Revenu Québec or of the No Establishment in Québec form; a copy of the valid authorization from the Autorité des marchés publics (AMP) authorizing the bidder to submit its bid (if it exceeds $5,000,000); the List of subcontractors form; the work schedule form; proof of commercial liability insurance; proof of motor vehicle liability insurance; registration numbers with the Commission for Standards, Equity, Health and Safety at Work (CNESST), with the Commission de la construction du Québec (CCQ) and with the Registraire des entreprises du Québec (NEQ); the acknowledgment of receipt of the addenda issued, if applicable; any other document required in the tender documents not listed above. Failure to complete the Integrity Attestation form will result in the automatic rejection of the submission. The awarding of the contract may be conditional on obtaining the various authorizations from the provincial departments concerned and the required permits. Ville de L'Assomption does not undertake to accept the lowest or any of the tenders received, nor to incur any costs whatsoever, nor obligation of any kind towards the tenderer(s).
