The City of Winston-Salem's Field Operations - Stormwater Division seeks to contract with one or more firms to provide as needed on call engineering and design services for a variety of storm drainage improvement projects within the City. Interested firms must employ staff who meet the qualifications and have experience in stormwater engineering services. Prospective firms should demonstrate the ability and expertise to provide the required services, available staffing, and resources to provide timely and professional services to the City. The City of Winston-Salem owns and maintains over 1000 miles of street with numerous interconnections of public and private storm drainage infrastructure. The Infrastructure that is in the right of way is the City's responsibility to maintain. Each year the City identifies various projects where there are storm drainage issues that need to be addressed through basin studies, condition assessments and citizen complaints and requests. The City anticipates several projects to be designed for construction each year. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this time.
