The South Glens Falls Central School District, Saratoga County, South Glens Falls, New York (in accordance with Section 103 of Article 5-A of the General Municipal Law) hereby invites the submission of sealed bids for parking lot striping and sealing at district operated facilities.This entire packet must be included with your bid. Bid specifications and bid form may be obtained by contacting the same office. The Board of Education reserves its right to waive any informalities relative to this bid and to reject any and all bids. Any bid submitted will be binding for 90 days subsequent to the date of the bid opening. Included is a copy of Bid Acknowledgement Form, Bid Form, Declaration, Corporate Resolution, Non-Collusive Bidding Certification and General Bid Conditions. Please read all parts of this bid specification carefully. In addition to the General Conditions, the following is to be considered: 1. Bids will be awarded to the vendor who supplies the lowest aggregate bid for parking lot striping. 2. As a special notation - Please review the Parking Lot Striping Location & Description sheet for specific instructions for each building. 3. Submitted bid price, and collectively, is to include all costs of application, which includes paint, delivery to each site, application of supplies at each site, labor and other materials. Submitted bid price will be the final price consideration for completion of the parking lot maintenance as described in attached bid package. 4. Interested bidders may visit each site to review parking lot areas and perform measurements. Appointments must be arranged through Steffen Buck, Director of Facilities and Operations, 518-793-9720. 5. Prevailing wage rates must apply. 6. A copy of your liability insurance certificate must be included with your quote. A certificate of Insurance with aggregate indemnification coverage of $1 million naming the South Glens Falls Central School District as additionally insured must be presented upon bid award notification. 7. Successful bidder(s) will be provided all necessary tax-exempt documentation from the school district. 8.Work dates must be arranged with Steffen Buck, Director of Facilities & Operations. Work may have to be done outside the normal daytime working hours. The South Glens Falls Central School Districts operate a summer school programs at the instructional facilities. The application process must not interfere with the instructional program at any of the facilities. 9. At the discretion of the Board of Education, an award may be issued which may exclude certain facilities. The lowest aggregate bid amount for the facilities will be used to select the bidder. 10. Samples of paint application must be reviewed by Steffen Buck, Director of Facilities & Operations prior to awarding the bid. Supplies deemed not suitable or not meeting specifications will disqualify the submitted bid. 11. The Board of Education reserves its right to reject any and all bids and waive any or all informalities.
