The only acceptable facsimile transmission for responses to bid solicitations is 1-855-983-1808. The maximum e-mail file size that Parks Canada can receive is 15 megabytes. The Bidder is responsible for any errors attributable to the transmission or receipt of the emailed Bid due to file size. The Bidder should be aware of the size of the email as a whole, not just the attachments. Please take into consideration that some attachments, when sent, may be resized during the email transfer. If the size of the email is too large, the bidder should send the bid in multiple emails properly labeled with the requisition number, project name, and indicate how many emails are included (ex. 1 of 2). Emails containing links to bid solicitation documents will not be accepted. Bid solicitation documents should be sent as email attachments. NEED Parks Canada needs a contractor for the repair and maintenance of green spaces at the Lachine Canal National Historic Site. They include, but are not limited to, the repair and maintenance of lawn surfaces, the replacement of trees, the maintenance of trees and existing herbaceous beds. For bonding and insurance purposes, the value of the project is estimated as follows: $100,001 > $250,000 plus tax. CONTRACT PERIOD / DELIVERY DATE The contractor must carry out and complete the work by December 01, 2022 at the latest. ASK FOR INFORMATION Inquiries of a technical and contractual nature must be submitted to the Contracting Authority. Inquiries regarding this bid solicitation must be in writing and should be received no later than five (5) business days prior to the bid solicitation closing date to allow sufficient time for a response. Inquiries received after this time may NOT be answered. INFORMATION The National Parks Regulations require that all work be carried out in accordance with the ordinances, acts, rules and regulations related to the National Parks Act.
