Renovation of a civil project in Punta Gorda, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.

As of June 28, 2022, project was awarded but awarded amount is not available. Contractor(s) to provide all labor, equipment, materials and all appurtenances to replace the baffle curtain and level indicator on a 2.0 MG Ground Storage Tank located at the Water Treatment Plant, Punta Gorda, FL. Inquiry and Clarification Request deadline: May 4, 2022 at 3:00 PM ET. All questions shall be submitted in writing via email to the Procurement contact. Submission of a bid will be construed that the Bidder is acquainted sufficiently with the work/commodities to be performed or supplied. The Bidder must make a careful examination of the project site, must familiarize themselves with existing conditions, and must satisfy themselves as to the quantity and quality of materials and workmanship required for the work. The Bidder must carefully and thoroughly examine the Solicitation Package, inclusive of the Agreement, terms and conditions before submitting a Submittal Package. In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act and Florida Statute 286.26, the location of meetings related to this solicitation is accessible to persons with disabilities. If you are a person with disability who needs any accommodation in order to participate in this meeting, you are entitled, at no cost to you, to the provision of certain assistance. Bidders who obtain Solicitation Packages from sources other than portal shall officially register receipt of the solicitation with the City's Procurement Division through the website by viewing the On-Line Solicitation AND accept receipt of each document attached to the solicitation. This will place the Bidder on the notification list for any forthcoming addendum or other official communications. Failure to register as a prospective Bidder and/or accept receipt of each document may cause your Submittal Package to be rejected as non-responsive if you have submitted a Submittal Package without City issued forms and/or acknowledgment of issued addenda and/or meet the Solicitation Package requirements as provided by the City. Project services to include: i) Complete replacement of the baffle curtain ii) Complete replacement of the liquid level indicator. iii) Once repairs are complete Contractor must disinfect tank in accordance with AWWA C652. d) Baffle Curtain minimum requirements: i) 45mil polypropylene geomembrane with associated fiberglass angles. ii) Stainless steel cable iii) All Stainless steel hardware
