BID VALID 90 Days LIQUIDATED DAMAGES $5,500/day START/DELIVER DATE June 2022 / May 2023 PROJECT DURATIONS 12 Months LICENSE REQUIREMENTS CA contractor's license, DIR registration PAYMENT BOND 100.00% PERFORMANCE BOND 100.00% For Design, Preconstruction Services, and Construction of the SDSU Mission Valley Site Development for San Diego State University. Project Design Consultants (PDC) is the Civil Engineer of Record for the SDSU Mission Valley Site Development project and Schmidt Design Group is the Landscape Architect. This project is a public works project. The proposed Project is located south of Friars Road, west of Interstate 15, north of the San Diego River, and east of the existing Fenton Marketplace shopping center in Mission Valley. The proposed project would include the site development of a Mission Valley campus for SDSU including the infrastructure required for educational, research, technology, and support programs within a mixed-use university village and research park an approximately 45 acre Riverpark along the San Diego River and Murphy Canyon Creek. Also included in this project is demolition of the existing San Diego County Credit Union Stadium, (previously known as "San Diego Stadium," "Jack Murphy Stadium," and "Qualcomm Stadium"); the construction of a new, multipurpose stadium (by others); the installation of temporary facilities and infrastructure for opening day of the multipurpose stadium; the creation of a River Park including passive and active recreation space and parks; and associated infrastructure and amenities and adjacent offsite improvements. Specifically, the proposed project would include site development consisting of grading and infrastructure to accommodate the rough grading and infrastructure for approximately 1.6 million square feet for campus uses; a 35,000 capacity multi-use stadium, approximately 4,600 residential units on 15 blocks; 2 hotels with approximately 400 hotel rooms; approximately 95,000 square feet of commercial/retail uses (by others); the final design and construction of river park as part of approximately 83 acres of open space; offsite improvements to adjacent roadways, landscape, parking, and roadways in select initial phases of the project. Potential traffic improvements include; widening of Friars Road west of Mission Village Drive, portions of Mission Village Drive, modifications to San Diego Mission Rd, and other potential widenings and road connections that are being finalized as part of the CEQA process. Additional Offsite improvements to be constructed in the future. This is a prevailing wage job and will be following DIR requirements. Subcontractors should be registered and current with the State of California at the time of bid. Qualifications will be submitted through Building Connected. As of May 12, 2022, the due date has been confirmed with the owner.
