Renovation of an educational facility in Vancouver, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The project consists of demolition of the existing Boiler 3 chimney connection, and capping of the tie in to the existing chimney system, and construction of a new chimney system which penetrates the roof to exhaust directly above the Boiler 3 outlet. The new chimney system is to include a new draft control damper to be controlled by existing Autoflame burner control system, a capped fitting for future connection to economizer system, seismic bracing (if contractor's engineer determines is nessecary), and structural supports. All equipment, materials, and labor are to be contractor supplied. Documents can be obtained from https://ubc.bonfirehub.ca/portal Award amount was not released for publication.
