The scope of work shall include, but is not limited to, the systems that are typically associated with subsurface investigation condition assessment projects. The existing facility is one story and approximately 5,100 +/- square feet in size. The scope of work will also include investigation and testing to analyze existing settlement conditions and make recommendations to remediate settlement of the existing structure. ADYS anticipates authorizing the condition assessment on this project immediately after the selection process is completed and an agreement is executed. The follow-up work of implementing the recommendations is subject to further approval. Qualifications: Applicants should have design experience with sub-surface investigation and condition assessment projects including projects of similar requirements. The Alabama Department of Youth Services will select the most qualified design professional as outlined in the current Manual of Procedures, published by the Alabama Department of Finance, Real Property Management, Division of Construction Management. All applicable State of Alabama Division of Construction Management documents and procedures, as well as any other applicable requirements from funding sources, shall be utilized on this project.
