Provide professional analysis of microgrid components, potentially leading to architectural and engineering design, and/or technical assistance during construction as required for retained services to be used on an as needed basis. All work shall be performed under and approved by a design professional, or contractor, licensed in the State of California. The estimated cost of construction for the project / retainer contract value is between $50,000 and $2,000,000. The estimated duration of this contract could be six months two years. Following successful negotiations and contract award with firm, in order to authorize work under the Retainer Agreement, a Task Order must be issued and signed by both parties. Task Orders shall be utilized to authorize work under the Retainer Agreement so long as (i) the Task Order does not exceed the scope of work set forth in the Retainer Agreement, and (ii) the Task Order does not amend any terms of the Retainer Agreement. Task orders shall only be issued during the first thirty-six (36) months of the term of the retainer agreement as defined in Section 2 of the Std. 213. The first thirty-six (36) months of the agreement will be referred to as "phase 1 - active phase". During the last twenty-four (24) months of the term of this agreement as defined in Section 2 of the Std. 213, only work authorized under task orders issued during Phase 1-Active Phase will be completed. The last twenty-four (24) months of this agreement shall be referred to as "phase 2 - completion phase" The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
