The major items of work include: Mill, HMAC Overlay of streets and traffic striping located in a central region of the City of Springdale Each bidder must deposit bid security in the amount, from and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. All bidders must be licensed under the terms of Act 150 of the 1965 Acts of the Arkansas Legislature, including subsequent amendments. All bids shall be sealed and the envelopes addressed to City of Springdale Public Works Department, 269 E Randall Wobbe Lane, Springdale, Arkansas. All bids shall be plainly marked on the outside of the envelope specifying that it is a bid for 2022 Springdale Street Overlay, the time for opening of bids, and the name and current contractors license number of the bidder. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all bids. No bidder may withdraw a bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening. The successful bidder must furnish a performance and payment bond upon the form provided in the amount of 100% of the contract price from an approved surety company holding a permit from the State of Arkansas to act as surety, or other surety or sureties acceptable to the Owner.
