The Sunriver Owners Association (SROA) hereby invites proposals for a consultant/consulting firm to lead the process of developing a comprehensive Park and Recreation Facilities Master Plan. The ideal candidate/firm will work closely with SROA staff and a project Task Force to review the existing park and recreation facilities in Sunriver, as well existing infrastructure and amenities plans to prepare a first ever Park and Recreation Facilities Master Plan. The consultant will be responsible for inventorying existing facilities, conducting a needs assessment (with a possibility for a survey), facilitating discussion and input from the Task Force, creating an implementation plan, developing preliminary drafts for Task Force and Sunriver Owner consideration and preparing a final draft for adoption by the SROA Board of Directors. This work will be conducted as an independent contractor to the SROA with an executed contract agreement. Qualified candidates/firms shall possess a combination of experience, expertise, and knowledge of drafting and implementing park and recreation facility master plans. Demonstration of specific knowledge of and familiarity with the Sunriver community and its guiding design principles will be taken into consideration. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
